Administration In spite of problems brought about by overcrowd- ing, the faculty and administration planned and ex- ecuted a most successful year for all students. The curriculum proved varied and stimulating, and many students found themselves challenged by new courses, especially the Advanced Program, which reached the high school level this year. A special Programming Committee was established by the faculty and the School Committee and other administrative groups for new building additions. School Committee members, Mr. Alfred L. Viano, Mr. Merrill F. Norlin, Mrs. Mildred Marek, Secretary; Mr. Sanborn Brown, Chairman; Mr. Vernon Page, Mr. Mitchell Spiris, Director of Administrative Services; Mr. Paul F. Poehler, Director of Instruction; Mr. Medill Bair, Superintendent of Schools, discuss plans for new facilities at Lexington High School.
