= The cheerleaders are always on the move. Here they are doing the traditional line-up cheer. Each year Lexington looks forward to the Thanksgiving Day football game with our traditional rival Concord. To encourage pre-game enthusiasm and sportsmanship, pep rallies are held at which the players are introduced by their Coach John Janusas. Although the weatherman as usual did not cooperate with sunshine and warm temperatures at game time, spirit continued to run high, especially when Lexington produced this year’s winning team. Following the Christmas vacation the gym really comes alive. With boys and girls scrambling up the ropes, vaulting over “boxes” and “horses,” and traveling down bars, the composite picture is one of real action. It is this weekly conditioning that helps keep our basketball teams win- ning those games. Cindy Saunderson practices dismounting from the buck. and physical fitness . . . “Life in the jungle would be easy,” thinks Harry Katchedoorian as he acquires new swinging skills.
