laughter to remember Rene No one can be serious all the time, and laughter offers the needed relaxation. There are mem- ories that will be remembered and laughed about many years from now. Practically every production, such as the Operetta or Senior Play, has moments when rehearsals become riotous over some joke in the lines. In class teachers and stu- dents laugh together; at the school’s sports events improvised cheers from the spectators in addition to incidents on the playing area enter- tain everyone. There are other mo- ments at any time or place that we will never forget. “Books, books everywhere and not a book that’s mine!” moans Linda Pow- ers as she searches futilely in the caf- eteria in a rush to get to class. Anyone can make a cake, but only James Hall, Arthur Therrien, and Bob Spidle can clean a stove. Will THIS get the cheerleaders to Concord? 20

excitement of The queen, Carol Ricci, is crowned by class president Robert Sheridan at the climax of the dance. After weeks of hectic committee meetings and moments of last minute planning, a major event of the year takes place for the seniors, their senior prom. This year under the theme of “Midnight Champagne” 200 couples en- joyed dancing, refreshments, and decorations in a surrounding atmosphere of night-life. Not to be forgotten though, is the added excitement of dinner parties before and after the prom and the traditional highlights of the senior girls’ dance, crowning the queen, and the queen’s waltz. Richard Napoli serves cold punch to Tom Napoli and Pat “We could have danced all night.”
