This year Lexington High veered from some routine procedures and experimented with a new method of teaching, the Basic Studies program, and a new plan for the cur- riculum. The plan allows for seven subjects, each meet- ing four periods a week, an effective, concentrated method of learning. The faculty continues to introduce new ideas and concepts to the student, and Lexington’s high rating in the state rewards their efforts.
