She is a great sports enthusiast and has been on the basketball squad during her junior and senior years. RICHARD SMITH 49 Parker Street Dickie always has a sincere smile and a fond greeting for everyone, and he is still looking for a cute blonde about 5'2” with big blue eyes. 68 Gleason Road MYRTLE SORENSEN Myrtle appears to be very quiet, but she can really be lively and peppy out of school. Her favorite pastime is dancing. Operetta (1). - FSS pro hil ite Pattie t; AWA LOIS SPIDLE 23 Shirley Street Lois is a rather shy girl but very poised and casual. Her close acquaintances vouch that she is a staunch friend. Art is her out- standing ability, but she has decided to go into the business world. 68 Fottler Avenue ELAINE ST. IVANYI Although Elaine has spent the fIast six months in a cast, we are glad that she will graduate in our class. THERESA TOCIO 19 Crescent Hill Avenue “Tree”, one of our best-dressed girls, is an expert on the dance-floor, in the bowling- alley, or in front of an easel. Spotlight (3); Senior Play (3). 39 Reed Street PHILLIP TULLAR Phil, the legs of his trousers slightly rolled, is a familiar sight as he roams around the library, looking for a magazine to-keep him out of trouble in study hall. MILES UHRIG 5 Hillside Terrace Miles, who is our goalie in hockey, also plays a superior brand of golf. In school, his ability to assemble his thoughts quickly and to present them clearly makes him a valua- ble member in a panel discussion. Her class- mates are grateful to her for the number of tickets that she sold for the senior play. ELSIE WALLACE 21 Vaille Avenue Elsie always has a good word for every- one. Her efficiency has kept her on Student Council for three years — good preparation for her career as a legal secretary. Student Council (1) (2) (3); Secretary of Student Council (3); Yearbook (3). 43 Woodland Road CRAIG WARK, JR. Craig keeps his friends laughing with his quick wit. Golfing, skiing, hunting, swimming, sailing, and model building take up his spare time. After graduation, Craig is headed for the University of Maine and mechanical engineering. IRMA JANE WEBB 266 Lincoln Street Irma participated in three sports in school and was tops in all of them. Her popularity with her team mates is best illustrated by the fact that she was elected captain of softball in both her junior and senior years. Field Hockey (2) (3); Softball (1) (2) (3); Captain of Softball (2) (3); Basketball (1) (2) (3). 12 Massachusetts Avenue FRANCES WELCH . “Frannie” always makes an effort to do her best and does it with a smile. Her ambition is to be a music teacher.
