JEAN McKENZIE 24 Vaille Avenue Jean leads two extra-curricular lives — that of an athlete and that of a model. Her ability as a field hockey player is well known to us. Her charming personality and her beautiful hair are well known to Marsha Jordan teen-agers. Field Hockey (2) (3). 6 Cottage Street ANN McLAUGHLIN Ann, who is always so neat and pleasant, hopes to become an airline hostess. As a pastime, she enjoys dancing very much, MARY LOU McLAUGHLIN 88 Oak Street There is never a dull moment when Mary Lou is around. Her innocent and well-mean- ing questions boomerang to make the class a scene of laughter. French Club (1) (2) (3); Basketball (2); Spotlight (2) (3); Senior Play (3). 105 Hancock Street HELEN McMAHAN Helen, another blonde with a sweet smile, plans to become a telephone operator. Her pleasant voice should soothe any disgruntled client. Operetta (1) (2). FLORENCE McMAHON 102 South Street Florence, a newcomer to our class last year, has proved herself to be efficient in her studies and willing to work for any good cause. Intramural Sports (2) (3). 3 Bowker Street MAUREEN MELLY Maureen, who is always cheering up some- one who is feeling blue, is famous for her bubbling laugh and her black eyes. French Club (1); Senior Play (3); Yearbook (3). ARTHUR MILLICAN 93 Hancock Street If Arthur is not driving his car, he can be found steering his truck or his tractor. His main ambition is to own and operate a poul- try farm. 307 Wood Street . JOHN MONETTE John's time outside of school is spent in skating, hunting, fishing, and looking into any sort of adventure that can be found at the moment. He plans to go to agriculture school and some day be a successful farmer.

His wit and sense of humor have made him very popular with his classmates. CAROLYN MAXWELL 341 Wood Street Full=oi tun) =Maxie is “also one’ ol) the luckiest, as she has already been accepted at the University of Maine, where she plans to major in social service work. Spotlight (1); Operetta (2); Traffic Squad (2); Glee Club (1) (3); Field Hockey (3); Senior Play (3); Yearbook (3). 77 Meriam Street DOROTHY MAYNARD Dotty’s willingness to do the job at hand and her ability to assume responsibility make her well-liked by students and teachers. ELEANOR McADOO 454 Marrett Road Fun-loving Eleanor is never in a bad humor. Those of us who touch type envy her speed and accuracy on a typewriter. CAMILLE MORETTI 8 Rindge Avenue Camille loves to read in her spare time and plans to study accounting in business school. She is the quiet twin. 8 Rindge Avenue WILLIAM MORETTI Besides being active on the track team, “Billy” is very much interested in bowling and swimming. His friendly smile and twinkling eyes make it a pleasure to meet him anytime. Operetta (1) (2); Track. (2) (3); Intramural Sports (1) (2) (3). BARBARA MYERS 17 Audubon Road Barbie is a peppy and attractive blonde with an amazing store of energy. She has great enthusiasm for doing something she likes and will stick to the job to the end. French Club (1); Dramatic Club (1); Operetta (1) (2) (3); Hockey (3); Senior Play (3); Yearbook (3); Spotlight (3); Band (1) (3). 27 Hancock Street HULDA NORTONEN Although Hulda arrived at LHS only last year, she has rapidly become popular with her classmates. She hopes to enter the Home Economics field. ROBERT OLDFORD 159 Reed Street Bob had plenty of pep and fight on the football field and was rewarded for it by being presented with the McNamara Trophy. Football (2) (3); Hockey (2) (3); Golf (2) (3); Senior Play (3); Student Council (3). 101 Cliff Avenue LORETTA PALERMO Slight of stature, Loretta has an enviable personality and neat appearance. Although she ranks high in scholastic achievements, she plans to make a career of her dancing talent. French Club (3). ARLENE PAWLOWSKI 15 Bennett Street This athletically minded girl keeps busy with sports, especially skating. She is always quiet and always a perfect lady. Operetta (3); Yearbook (3). Old Billerica Road ANN PETERSEN Although she claims that horses are her first love, “Pete's” attention at hockey games would make us doubt her statement. French Club (2); Senior Play (3).
