RICHARD GRIFFITHS 15 Highland Avenue Dick, who is especially famous for his puns and his whiffle, is one of the spark plugs of the senior class. Football (2) (3); Baseball (1) (2) (3); Operetta (1); French Club (1) (2). 29 Bloomfield Street JANE GRINDLE Jane’s charming smile and quiet ways have earned her many friends. She has entered into all the fun and yet has managed to keep herself removed from the limelight. Yearbook (3); Operetta (3). BARBARA HADLEY 488 Mass. Avenue Barbara is one of the quiet, capable mem- bers of our class. Her favorite pastime is reading, but she also enjoys music and art. Next year she will attend the Chandler Sec- retarial School. 30 Arcola Street FLORENCE HAIGH Florence will be remembered as that happy, devil-may-care girl witn the ever present sense of humor. NANCY HARRINGTON 9 Glen Road Nancy has twinkling blue eyes, a bewitch- ing smile, and a sparkling personality. What else? She is an outstanding field hockey and basketball player. Because of her keen interest in youngsters, she should make an excellent child-nurse.

MADELINE FITCH 43 Hillside Avenue “Maddy” will best be remembered for her aggressive playing in the left-wing slot in field hockey. She is another one of those good athletes from Bedford. Conscientious about her studies, Clara is particularly proficient at typing. She wishes to become a secretary when school days are over. PAUL FURDON 822 Mass. Avenue Although Paul isn’t very talkative, he has plenty of spirit when he is out there playing football or baseball for L. H. S. Zia (1) (2) (3); Football (1) (2) (3); Operetta 2 Lexington Avenue ELIZABETH GATES “Liz”, who is tops in everything that she attempts, has had an unusually successful year with the Spotlight. She also knows how to run up the scores in basketball. MARY GENETTI 29 Hartwell Road Mary is usually studying, but she watches basketball and field hockey games in her less studious moments. Glee Club (1) (2). South Road DONNA GOYETTE Donna is one of the most active members of our class. Besides her singing and acting talents brought out in the operettas, she has considerable artistic ability. JEAN HUNT 58 Farmcrest Avenue Although Jean is quiet around school, she can make as much noise as the rest when participating in sports. She particularly likes basketball, swimming, and softball. Softball (1) (2) (3). 47 Farmcrest Avenue NORMA HUNT Those interesting letters that Norma has been receiving from South America have made her desirous of visiting that southern continent. She plans to major in Spanish in college. ego Sports (1); Spotlight (1); Traffic Squad JOAN IGNICO 18 Outlook Drive Joan is the cute little brownette with the big blue eyes, a peppy miss who loves to dance and who plans to attend Wilfred Academy next year. Dramatic Club (1). 28 Reed Street GEORGE JACKSON George is one of our literary members. He is best known for his well-written and wide- ly-read satirical contributions to the Spot- light.
