Basketball After having a fairly poor season last year, the Jackets still fighting an uphill battle because of moving into the new' AAAA Conference, had a very game club this year. This was shown in the two early victories over arch-rival Thomasville. The lack of depth was made up for by sheer determination and a lot of winning spirit. C0- captains Bill Hilton and Terrell West led this year's sharp shooters along with Danny McGinn. Ken Lambeth, Johnny Williams, Donnie Leonard and Don Hedrick. Lexington, one of the smallest teams of the AAAA Conference, had to scrap all the way against their taller opponents. Other returning lettermen are Bill Zachary, Rick Hooker, and Guy Smith. Gradua- tion took with it a fine golfer in Eddic Gray along with Craig Redwine.
