SENICR CLASS PRCDPH ECY I am a stewardess on the TWA airlines. One day after the plane had landed and I had helped the passengers off, I had half an hour before departing again and decided to go to the Square Circle Club. As I was seated, I noticed that the waiter looked familiar. When I asked him his name, he said he was Donald Shearer, a former classmate of mine from Lexington, whom I hadn't seen for twenty years. Donnie said the owner of the Club 'was none other than Clyde Beswick. Glancing at my watch I noticed it was almost time for my plane to depart. Asl boarded the plane and saw to it that everyone was comfortable, Ithoughtl saw a familiar face and glanced back to see. Sure enough it was one of my classmates, Alice Nichols and her seven boys going to join her husband in Paris, where they own the DeVille Hotel. I chatted for awhile and when we landed I went to the hotel where I was to spend the night. After I had rested, I felt hungry and called for service. When the bellboy came, I was surprised to see another one of my classmates, Tommy Jones. He said he had been working there for about two years, that he and Shelby Adams were married, and they had two sets of twin boys. They were now living in Hair Pin, France. After I had rested and eaten I went down to the Cocktail Lounge and ordered a drink, there was soft music playing and a girl singing. It was none other than Rose Higdon. Rose said that Judith Wells was working as a cigarette girl, trying to support her husband, who was a heavy drinker, and their six girls. It was getting late so I went back to my room. The next morning I called a taxi to go to the airport. When the taxi arrived, I saw, to my great surprise, that the driver was Lula Belle Ryker. When I arrived at the airport and it was time to board the plane, the pilot came to the rear to get information on the flight. I noticed he had a familiar face, it was Lewis Ray - he said that his Co-pilot was James Hall. We were on our way to Lexington, Indiana, my old home town. After the plane had landed Iwent to see my old high school. Everything had changedg they had gotten a new school building and had the largest gym in Scott County. I went to the office and found the Principal, who was Ronnie Elliott, and the coach was Gail Goodwin. Gail is now married to Judy Hall. Judy isa wrestler and wrestles in the Lexing- ton auditorium on Friday nights. I left the school and went to the beauty parlorgthere was Carolyn Bridgewater. She is now the owner and manager of the Beauty Parlor in Lexington. , As I was walking down the street Iheard a large commotion, someone was giving a speech. I waited for a while to hear what it was all about. It was Louis Brandt who was running for mayor on the Democratic ticket. He said that Donnie Hayes was running on the Republican ticket. This is everyone from my class except Faith Trowbridge, who we are sorry to say, is, now residing in the Scott County Poor House, after trying to build a big house on forty dollars a week. I guess you all are wondering whol am - myname is Lenoris Dennis and I have been a stewardess since I graduated from Lexington High School in 1958. As I journey along I am glad to see all of my classmates and wish them all, lots of wealth, health, and happiness in the years to come, Written by Lenoris Dennis, Lewis Ray, Louis Brandt 1 Fx M 5 f 1
