THE 1984 CRYSTAL On Thursday, August 25, the en- trance doors opened once again for the 1983-84 school year. Lexington High students, filled with enthusiasm and desire, were determined to com- plete another year with more success than the preceding years. The eighth grade was reduced by half, because all city eighth graders attended Lylburn Downing. This cut school enrollment but school spirit remain- ed at a peak.
