'9 members of the starting five werenlt present. Lexington lost quite a few games in the second half due to lack of experienced reserves. The long list of losses to the L. H. S.: Alumni, once, Waynesboro, three timesg Harrisonburg, Staunton, V. S. D. B., Bedford and Covington, twice each, and Goshen once, were punctuated by five wins over Goshen, Natural Bridge and Spottswood. Captain Doot Agnor was the Scarlet Hurricane's leading player. His brilliant Hoof play and ball handling were exceptional, he could make anybody's basketball team. His four com- panions on the smart live were Baker and Bean, forwards, Humphris, center, and Macheras, guard. The total number of victories next year should be higher, Humphris and Nlacheras being the only seniors. hlacheras was high scorer with 120 points, C. Agnor and Baker following.
