S. wasn't made distinctive by stellar grades, he nevertheless commands the respect and admiration of his teachers and fellow students. His accomplishments in the executive Field are augmented by his vocal, dramatic, and a degree of athletic ability. His sharp sense of humor, always present, naturally makes his talks in assembly all the more satisfy- ing. So long, Leadfoot,,' member five on the hit parade of L. H. She always comes running at everyonels plea for help and she's one of the grandest cooks and party makers of the Class of '46. When Helen graduates, Mrs. Boykin will lose one of her ardent librarians. Even though she can tell us to be quiet, Helen enjoys herself. Sometimes we see her at the box office of the State Theater and even though we continually annoy her to change a dime into nickels, she always has a smile or a funny remark to make. Its been a lot of fun and we hope you keep on having it. He's always in the teacher's hair with some wise crack that disrupts the whole class. ln the line of athletics, Donnie is home at either the center or guard position on the school eleven. Like most of the Skull Canyon Boys, he's also fond of Chicks Cespecially a cute little one named HD. Here's hoping the Admirall' doesn't make you swab too many decks. Eldridge, our tall farm boy, is a man of action. He was one of the stars on our championship track team and his scholastic record never suffered. A great lover of the outdoors, he has a tendency for wondering up and down Edmondson Avenue as if he were hunting for something. His favorite pastime is running about Skull Canyon' carrying onl' with the birds and fishes, but his greatest thrill will come when he can own a genuine Farmall tractor.
