Bridge, Chess Clubs Utilize Precise Ideas Numerically inclined pupils enjoyed exercising their minds in the different math Helds by por- traying their knowledge in the various math clubs. Some preferred to make use of the chess club activi- ties to improve their game. The club wassponsored by Mr. Sistar who attempted to give pointers to beginning and experienced players. Cards fascinated other stu- dents. The bridge club was formed to give those interested a chance to acquire more know-how about the game. Beginners were taught by the other members and Mrs. Vaughn, their sponsor. To complete the divers steps of a geo- metric praoh Maria Sharpe finds squat- ting to be a necessary procedure. Bridge Club participants try to improve their game by playing an open-hand f0Ufld and questioningeach other. Summary-89
