Even in Carolina's huge stadium at the 1968 Sportsarama, our football cheerleaders helped make the voices of Lexington fans heard. Coach Rawl and all other members of the Lexington coaching staff were admired and respected not only by their teams, but by every enthusiastic supporter of our school. The spirit prevailed throughout basketball season as was indicated by Larkin Corley's determination as he shot a basic but effective shot, the layup.
