Foreword It is the goal of the yearbook staff to have recorded on these pages the highlights of the 1968-69 school year. If in the future this book brings to mind memories of athletic vic- tories; club, organizational, and class activities; cherished friendships; and the little things of big importance which take place each day to bind us together as students of Lexington High School, we will have achieved our goal. 2

Floyd Skinner graduated from Lexington High School in 1925. As a student, he was a member of the band, a charter member of the Lexington High School “Bullpups,” and participated on the basketball team and the football squad. Since being elected to the Lexington School Board in 1961, Mr. Skinner has devoted many hours of his time and energy for the benefit of the boys and girls of our school. In appreciation we dedicate the 1969 Lexington Bulldog to Mr. Floyd Skinner.
