Now the booths are all closed, the money has been turned in to the judges, and the crowd is anxiously awaiting the results of the queen's race. Suddenly a voice booms forth from the loud speaker, and a cheer comes up from the crowd. The Seniors have won the 1960 Carnival Queen's race. This is one of the highest honors which a high school class can gain, and we Sen- iors are very proud of this accomplish- ment.

Early this morning the three Senior High School classes came to make some last minute preparations for this, the 1960 Halloween Carnival, and to put some finishing touch- es on their thrones and booths, which they started last week.
