Miller and the talented staff of Carrier Division Three have been the embarked 44 Flag M during the LeXington's 1960-61 Westpac cruise. From its headquarters in Flag Plot, just below the ship's bridge, the Flag observes the operations of the ship and, more important, the overall operations of the Task Group. It plans training schedules and coordinates the various units concerned.
