Sharon Shaffstall gazes intently dur- ing a pep rally. 178 Farmerettes Farmerette Dazzle 'E The Farmerettes continued to establish their tradition of excellence in many ways this year. They won several awards at the July Kilgore Rangerette Drill Team Camp, including the spirit pom and first division ratings in military, prop, dance-novelty and highkick categories. These awards helped them to also win the Sweepstakes trophy. The Farmerettes helped build school spirit by performing at pep rallies, in parades and civic functions and at football games. They also competed at various area competitions exceptionally well, and presented their annual Spring Show in March.
