Just Standing Around . . . Lorri Stamps smiles to a friend as the Farmers go on to victory in a match-up with Eastern Hills, while the cheerleaders boost school spirit at a pep rally before a big game. Another wild group of students show their en- thusiasm for the Farmers in their own unique way. Unsetl Students prepare the bonfire for Homecoming festivities. W Q4 ww. Students had different hangouts around the school. For instance, Dixie McMathls room 102 was cheerfully filled in the morning with the LHS cheerleaders. Football players or ujocks' could be seen holding up the walls in various places. The hallway near the cafeteria has always been reserved for the kickers. The smoking crowd no doubt was found in the smok- ing courtyard. I.et's not forget the bookworms seen making their way toward the library with a load of books. The marquee shows there is Standing Room Only in LHS. Fighting Farmer fans show we are number one at a football ROD! Ol LY Being a part of the crowd was very important to Lewisville High School students. It seemed that many came with the at- titude of wanting to get involved in various activities. Student Council started the year off by getting people involved with sophomore and new student orientation. This familiarized the students with the school and stu- dent leaders. The cheerleaders made a valiant effort to involve people in supporting the football team. Some spirit days included sock it to 'em, Punk-Out Plano, and Halloween dress up. The gym overflowded with Farmer Fans at the beginning of the year, however the audience dwindled after the Farmers lost to Plano. The stormy clouds of defeat seemed to scare the fair weather crowds away.llJ - Jeanne Rau - on---14 Q1 'Q a wicl. 1,' 'TW

The LHS Farmerettes always look happy when they think of the Fighting Farmers' winning another football game. Mrs. Marilyn Neiman, teacher, frequently shows her school spirit on school dress up days. She went on this year to become one of the finalists in the judging of Punk-- Out Plano Day. The winner of the Punk-- Out Plano contest was Dee Dee Ridinger who got the pleasure of Punking Assis- tant Principal Jill Spanheimer in the face with a pie. W wf adm 1 N.
