ProT, as he was lovingly called by his associaTes and sTudenTs aT L.l-l.S., also played Tor gubernaTorial and presidenTial inauguraTions. ln TacT, he was one oT The ouTsTanding musicians oi The sTaTe. Loved and respecTed by The enTire sTudenT body, ProT was pure gold in The eyes of The members oT The L.l'l.S. Band. Always wiTh Them Through Thick and Thin, he shared Their ioys and Their sor- rows, and was conTinually pledging his supporT To Them. l'le was Their Teacher, advisor, well-wisher, and confessor. Mr. Runlcle came To LewisTown TwenTy-one years ago and was employed by The American Viscose CorporaTion Tor Three years, ln l932 he became associaTed wiTh The VocaTional DeparTmenT and, aTTer a shorT Time, he was elecTed DirecTor oT The deparTmenT. ln The Tield oT VocaTional EducaTion, he was a respecTed and well Trained leader, having gradu- uaTed Trom Pennsylvania STaTe College wiTh Bachelor oT Science and MasTer's degrees. He was a lceen humorisT and was always ready Tor Tun. AlThough he was very busy wiTh The admin- isTraTive demands oT his day and nighT classes, he was always ready To lend a helping hand in any siTuaTion.
