Ernie has been rather quiet during his first three years, but this year it is altogether different. Here is our pal, The Count, who can live up to any- thing he says 1sometimesJ. He has a natural gift of speech, and a tremendous vocabulary, which does at times seem to become very ambiguous. Karl is planning to en- ter Bates next fall and become a teacher in the sciences. BEGIN, HENRI GEORGE Commercial C. Robert's Business College. Motto: The und crozvns the 1vo1'k. Activities: Speech Club 141, Economics Club 1415 Committee to help the poor 1413 Assistant-manager Senior Play 1433 Alumni Night Program 14Jg Winner of Type- writing Pin 145. Though Henri is a little fellow he has certainly done his part at school. He is a fine musician and likes to sing. Henri has a smile for everyone and was a handy man at the Senior Play. Henri is going to seek a business care-er, and indeed will make his mark. BOISVERT, RONALDO Ronny General C. Frye Grammar School. Motto: Manly a diamond has been found in, the rough. Activities: Booster Staff 1435 Economics Club 1419 Advanced Science Club 143. Ronny is one of the busiest members in our class. He turns out for all sports, is a member of school clubs, and he also is employed by a local business firm. Ronaldo intends to keep his present position in business after graduation.

For the next two school years, Eleanor's address will be Bradford Junior College, but with that cute little Ford coupe she has, no doubt she will be coming home for week-ends now and then. That she will be a charming librarian we are very sure, for that is an occupation that requires personality, efliciency, and patience, all of which Eleanor has. Certificate 121: Shorthand Certificate, 60-80 141: Economics Club, Distri- butive and Unemployment Com. 141: Honor Part 141: Alumni Basketball Committee 141: National Honor Society 141. Gay is one of the talented members of our class. She excels in all of her studies, and at home she brightens the atmosphere with her music. She was a staunch rooter for all of the athletic teams during her brief stay at Lewiston High. She plans to continue her studies in secretarial work.

Nancy is the little girl that makes all the noise at basketball games. Her hobby is dancing: she'd rather dance than eat, and she has quite an appetite. Nancy hasn't decided on what her career will be, but we think that she will end up as a loving wife to some 1re1tired business man. BREITMOZER, AGATHA AMELIA College C. Wallace Grammar School. That was what we would call excellent acting. We expect to hear of you as a member of the Bates 4A players next year. After Bates, Amelia is going to study nursing. BREWER, NEVA MARIE General C. Patten Grammar School, Greene, Maine. Motto: Boar and F0rbcm'. Activities: XYZ Club 111: Glee Club 141: Economics Club 141. Neva is one of the few students seriously interested in the art of painting. She loves to paint, paint, and paint. This modern miss claims that dancing is her hob- by, and attends all of the fashionable country dances. She plans to secure a government position after graduating. BROWN, ERNEST HAYWARD Brownie Technical C. Frye Grammar School . Motto: uAC1'0'II1.1Ili.SlI more: talk laws. Activities: XYZ Club 111: Sodalitas Latina 121: Graduation Committee 131: Economics Club 141: Class Hockey 11, 21. Brownie has been one of the hard working members of our class. His hobby is sailing a boat, but by his at- tendance at the school social functions, we must say, dancing must be his second love. Maine will board him for the next four years.
