l'f1!lf' N - The Folio of 1'.e1ri.vffm High St-hool never fails to have some good effect on our character hy elevating our aims or increasing our knowledge. 'l'oo many people regard the most wonderful friend in the world too lightly, Motherfwho is more of a friend to us than our Mother? Schoolmates, chums, acquaintances all hold important places in our hearts, hut she is the one to whom we turn to in times of trouhle and worry. lsn't it so? l.et's think it over? --Milrlrerl Katmemlulix. THOSE HAPPY DAYS lfaney a ship hlled with people, who have four years ago set sail on 1. voyage to some imaginary land, where there is gold in ahuvdanee for everyone. For four years they have had a glorious time together. helping each other to overcome every storm that arose against them. and sharing with each other's joys and sorrows. .Xt last having reached their land of fancy, they cast anchor and rush to every corner of the land searching for the gold that they have waited so long for. Some succeed in tinding their object: others fail. Hut whether they have met success or fortune, they still look hack to the four happy years spent in coming here, for then not one thought ul failure. Un just such a case are we seniors at present experimenting. For four years we have been enjoying what will he the happiest years of our lives. Side hy side we have overcome with pleasure everv prohlein that has monfronted us. From the same hooks we learned rifrht from N wrong, Latin from French, and after hisecting an angle We w vnder not why the world has failed in trisecting an angle. .Xt last we are ahout to cast our anchor and separate, never to enjoy those happy days again. Soon everyone will have his own proh- lenis to solve. No one hut himself will he ahle to overcome them. So. lct us hope, that each and every one of us seniors of nineteen 'l'hirty- 'l'wo will he ahle to leave our ship, and meet l.ady Success at every turn in our lives. -Jusliu. Nrl1'i.vA'i. THE REAL TEST lt will undouhtedly he many years lmetorc another group ut students will have the opportunity of graduating from a hrand new school huildf ing. .Xs juniors in Utlld jordan High we despaired leaving the familiar surroundings, hut the attractiveness and privileges ol' the new huilding stroll outweighed that sentiment for the former school. We really he- lieve that we are appreciative of the advantages that have heen ours in Lewiston llighf' hut a true sense of gratefulness will come when present associations are a thing of the past. -Agnes Cuties.
