DONNA MARIE SKINNER-In all her activities. Donna Marie tound herselt in the public eye. During three years at LHS her talent was exemplified not only as a maiorette. lout also as 1949-50 president ot the Honor Society. Her radiant smile will be re- membered long after she has lett the halls ot LHS. Representative Students MARILYN EVANS-With a vivacious personality and a smile tor all, Marilyn won merits as she pre- sided over a successful year ot the Purple 84 Gold League and participated in many student lcoedl activities, which led to her selection as the local D.A.R. representative. MARIE LITCHFIELD-Besides holdingthe ottice ot student loody secretary. Marie gave treely ot her other talents. lending them to many high school play productions, musical groups and work on the annual. Marie was always willing to help where she was needed.

Anti ities Mechanics Pause For Snap Future machinists of the Lewis- ton-Clarkston area were grouped around their competent instructor, W. C, Frick, at the Lewiston High School machine shop when the cameraman of the 1950 Bengal stopped in to look over their pro- jects. Science Has Hs Marvels S, S. Scheibe, science instructor at LHS, was giving his second hour physics class a demonstration in the use of the electro-static machine at the moment this candid action shot was snapped. Forty Words a Minute Yes, these members of the third hour typing class are shown busi- ly at work during a practice ten- minute time test in the typing room. It looks as if several of the students are having a bad time with their paper. Mrs. lVlarie Nicholas, instructor, kindly con- sented to our taking the picture of another LHS class room. Experience ls the Best Teacher That motto was used consider- ably at the LHS wood shop during the 1949-1950 school term. These seventeen ambitious young carpen- ters were completing the finishing touches on their wall shelves under the direction of Mr. E. C. Reiber.
