Junior High Activities BOYS QUARTET Under the direction of Miss Helen Young the Boys Quartet sang at various assemblies and in the spring concert and spring festival GIRLS CHORUS Performing for school assemblies the Christmas concert the Rotary Club and spring concert and festival the Girls Chorus under direction of Miss Helen Young was busy throughout the year Blanche Pearson was president MIXED CHORUS Thirty members of the Mixed Chorus lifted their voices in song at numerous school assemblies throughout the year and the spring festival Miss Helen Young was director of the group Sweeney was group president and Mrs Merl Kytonen girls P E instructor was adviser BOYS TURNOUT Participation in after school turnout won these boys their Midget Ls and membership in this club Cletus Sarbacher was adviser GIRLS GLEE Performances in the Christmas program and spring fest val and concert constituted the only public appearances of the Girls Glee Club but the club objective to learn to better appreciate music and create an interest in music was fulfilled Miss Helen Young was adviser CHEER LEADERS Jim May Joan Hasfurther and Billy Zirbel composed the energetic trio which led yells in both Junior and Senior High pep assemblies and at all of the home B souad games G, A.
