Dyer, Cornelius, Winter, Clarke, XVhyte, Francis, Mr. Ileckart The Student Council is composed of representatives from each class and those persons holding major offices about the school. lt was created with the idea of permitting the students to participate in the internal management of the school and of providing for student cooperation and responsibility. This council, under the direction of Mr. Heckart, holds its meetings every other Wednesday. The members discuss and help to solve the various problems of the school. ONEIDA ' 1939 Hwy, Wi.-. sons oE THE GREEN Diaz-xaoixi Whyte Fisher Mr. Minnier Frantz Cornelius The purpose of the Sons of the Green Dragon, an organization founded in the tall of l934, is to develop the social, physical, and the mental activities of every Lewis- burg High School boy. Thebgxgue has endeavored to achieve this by means at swimming, photography, driving, sports, and numerous other clubs in which each boy participates. The Boys' and Girls' Leagues sponsor a school fair and exhibition each spring. The annual Father-Son banquet is the major social event at the group. Page Seventeen 5
