Body Officers Spring Semester Following in the steps of the Fall Semester ASB, the Spring Semester ASB Officers became involved in many state and local issues. President Dan Close announced that the ASB would actively support any state or local legislature concerning the nineteen year olds ' right to vote. Dan also said that the ASB took a closer, more political look at the school levy. Continuing the efforts of Bob Hansen ' s administration, the Spring ASB Officers worked towards gaining land under the freeway for an LC parking lot, by presenting their ideas to a local newspaper. The Council of Presidents attended by all-city and valley ASB leaders, promoted better inter-school relationships. May Week was one of the last activities planned by the ASB. The week of festivities ended with the crowning of the May Week royalty. President Dan Close Secretary Jim Anderson Vice-President Skip Elliott Historian Debbie Darling Treasurer Kerri Derrick 23
