K ' 1' 7,1 ,Q Publication of La Center WILDCAT WIRES gives all students with journalistic interest an opportunity to write current school news and editorials of interest to our students. Through exchanges we receive up-to-the-minute news from other schools. While we have no class in journalism per se--students volunteer for activity assignments and use their initiative to bring in news which represents their organizations. Some of the skills attained in reporting are curiosity, awareness, promptness, accuracy, attention to detail, use of good English, typing skill, and co operation with others. This year our staff numbers 45 acting in the capa- city of reporters, artists, and production crew. Mrs. Reed is the advisor for WILDCAT WIRES l . W Mrs. Reed, advisor. Sue McDowell, editor.
