ALPHA KAPPA PSI Gamma Xi is one of the 125 collegiate chapters of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity across the country. With the motto Serv- ice it was installed on this campus in 1953. The aims of Alpha Kappa Psi are to further the individual welfare of its members, to foster scientific research in the fields of commerce, accounts and finances, to educate the public, and to promote courses leading to degrees in business and administration. Gamma Xi chapter at- tempts to serve Lewis and Clark by conducting the annual alumni banquet for all business administration alumni, and through var- ious proiects. The program of the chapter's professional activities include luncheons where business men from the Portland area are invited as speakers, and working with the business depart- ment in organizing departmental seminars.
