In 1963 Coach Gillespie Q led the Lewis College base- iiball squad to a ranking of lnumber six in the nation. The team was led in hitting U by All American Ed Spiezio Who hit a flashy .49l. Joe xBruns, Coughlin, and Pauls lr N Ugo and Ken Mularski hit .336 and .370 respectively. Bob Calamari led the pitch- ing staff 'by boasting a 2.88 earned run average for 73 innings pitched.
