Many interesting hiking jannts were taken this year, the most outstanding of which was the trip up the spiral highway to the numerals where the girls ate their lunch and rested before returning home. To gain their 100 points the girls were recpiired to hike 75 miles the first and third quarters and 50 miles the second quarter.

Soccer proved to he one of the most popular sports during the fall quarter, and there was a very large turnout under the management of Virginia Sherwood. About 26 girls received 100 points for participating in 10 practices and the tournament. Clrennis Your serve. Short Doubles That's 15-SO, shouted the server as she again tried to serve the hall from the court, and in this manner many of the tennis games proceeded. The new courts are occupied most of the time now, and players have to wait their turn in order to play. Tennis was offered to women athletes in the fall and spring quarters.
