back seat of my convertrble I waved good bye to dear old Lewes and drove on I drdn t really drrve far when I ran out of gas rn front of a new fully equrpped servrce statron whose owner was a former classmate Lours Nobles I had no need to stop agarn untrl I reached Phrladelphra where I went to Dorrs Short s Beauty Salon Srnce my corffure was done rn trme we went to hear Phyllrs ohnson grve a speech on her extensrve travels I had to leave rmmedrately because I had accepted a cordral rnvrta tron to spend the nrght at the home of Mr and Mrs Brll Metcalfe Beatrrce Thomas Gorng out of my way I stopped to see Professor Dorothy E Hadder who rs the head of the Natronal Scrence Development Department Srnce I made good trme I was able to catch the last performance of Mr Robert Short the famed
