in December. They are Chairman, Iva Iosephg Vice-Chairman, Mary Hazzard and Secretary, Marlette Huey. Our first task was to make our homeroom more attractive. The curtains were washed and ironed. They were then put up thus adding much to the appearance of our room We purchased a lovely vase and some monks cloth for the bulletin board and also a flag holder Uur social life was started off in grand style with a Hallowe en party held at one of the girls home Everyone had a delightful time We also had parties to celebrate special oc casxons such as Thanksgnmg Christmas Valentine s Day and Easter party at which we had the pleasure of entertalmng Mr Bylers homeroom All these ewents were fully enjoyed We have greatly enjoyed our homeroom activities and we are eagerly looking forvsard to next year INGRAM S HOMEROOM Under the leadership of Mr Ingram our new music director we haxe had several inter esting and enjoyable homeroom parties I the activity period we were very successful in inter homeroom sports However since ours is the music homeroom the majority ot the time was spent in band chorus and other music activities The fellows spend many minutes listening to the most popular records on the uctrola we have sew eral student visitors due to this attractive feature Mr Ingram organized a boys glee club and small band composed principally of his homeroom members lncldentallv this small band became xery popular playing nox eltv numbers at the basketball games and other occasions KEP' S LOVERS We started our great year of '59 and '40 with a bang. YVe were all on time. But since then, Mr. R. Evans, and Mr. R. Walton have had a great habit of running out of gas.
