Along with highlighting their silver anniversary at the Inaugural Ball and twenty-fifth Alumni night, they sponsored the S.O.S. Humanity Drive, Courtesy Week, and locker campaigns. Along with these activities, the B.C.O. is also responsible for College night, Freshman activity day, the selection of nominees for Hon- orary Colonel, improving of school and neighborhood facilities and pro- moting better sportsmanship. Can vou write a good feature for the next issue ? These are the remarks you are likely to hear if you should drop in to room 2l4M any time between 1:50 and 9:00 P. M. In the back of the room you will see a table marked Editors . There you will find five overworked, haggard characters that are almost dead from exhaustion: but work they must, for the paper must come out on time. - In another corner the exchange editor sits licking little red stamps while the circulation manager searches through her files for a subscriber's name. The cartoonist is getting sun stroke from the high powered mimeoscope while drawing cartoons, and the reporters are all frantically counting words. Come one beautiful day fevery two weeks? the PHILOSOPHER is done and the finished product is passed out to the stu- dent body and faculty. We work and we work' The live long day To put out the Philosopher Without any pay But we don't grumble Or ever complain For at last we've found out Our work's not in vain The fine finished product ls our big reward And another week's issue ls triumphantly scored.
