Harold Schwarz, Principal The world into which this yedr's graduates will enter is a demanding one. It calls for more thinking, more help, and more sacrifices than at any time in history. The amount of success that you will attain depends upon how well you have trained yourself to prepare for it. The staff at Levittown Memorial have provided you with enough experiences — academic, social, and non- academic and athletic — to prepare you for the world outside. Only you know how much you have given to help make yourself a success. The period of our life which you are completing can never be relived. Hopefully, you have used it to its fullest. To say, 1 wish I would'a or If only ! ...” is a sad reflection! If you are in this category, perhaps you can try to change the thinking that Youth is always wasted on the young. ” As you look back, I’m sure you’ll agree that growing up, as well as the pursuit of education, is not an easy task. The decisions that you have made, should have made you a better person — even if some of them were wrong decisions. Nevertheless, you must now be ready to take your part in the world that awaits you Whatever is your next experience — work, study or what have you — make sure you become totally immersed in it. Never forget your responsibilities to your parents, to your morals, to yourself. If you can truly say at the end of this experience, ‘7 gave it my best shot! — then you will be happy, you will be successful, you will truly be an adult that both you and we can be proud of.
