This year, as in the past, the'staff of Echoes has chosen to dedicate the yearbook to a member of our faculty. We feel that in this small way we can recognize and thank someone who has constantly and dedicatedly served the student body. Our current dedicatee is liked, respected, and well-known throughout Levittown Memorial High School. All those who attend school functions, especially interscholastic sport programs, are familiar with the friendly smile of Mr. Robert Noble. In the brisk cool of the football season he can be seen selling tickets and cheering on the team. When basketball season begins, he is active again, this time in the capacity of official scorekeeper. For many years he has given his valuable time and inexhaustible efforts to the success of the varsity baseball and bowling teams. As chairman of the Mathematics Department for all his eight years in L.M.H.S., Mr. Noble has done much to improve and expand the course offerings of the depart- ment. Through his enthusiastic efforts and fine instruction, interested students make great progress in both analytical geometry and calculus. For your instruction, your guidance, and your tireless energy, we the students of Levittown Memorial High School, in appreciation and tribute, dedicate to you, Mr. Robert Noble, the Echoes of 1961.
