W. Marcom. Deep In the I-Ie an of Texas was the theme of the junior-Senior Banquet which featured predominantly pink and silver western deco- rations and was held at the Cal Boykin Hotel, May S. Q N 1 . A Cactus and silvery tumble weeds decorated the tables, and bright blue bandanas served as favors. One ofthe lastbig school affairs of the year, the banquet will long be remembered as one of the best ever given and as the first to be held in the new Cal Boykin Hotel here in Levelland. Five Board members attended with administrators a meeting of the Permian Basin organization of school men and School Board members last fall.
