It has been the custom for sev- eral years to elect a Campus King and Queen during the last weeks of October to be crowned at the close of the contest. This project is under the supervision of the Student Council which uses the money raised to apply to the cost of the annual which resulted in students being able to have an annual for 33.00, which is much less than the actual cost of pub- lishing it. Each class in Senior High will participate in this pro- ject. The student council will con- duct the contest in such a manner that no individual or class will have an advantage the money will be raised through legitimate me- thods and the results in a feelings of goodwill to the candidates win, lose or draw. The contest will officially open Wednesday, Oct. 17 8 a. m. and close Wednesday, Oct. 31, 8 p. m. There will be several methods of raising money, such as slave sales, concession stands, box sup- pers, private dances, talent shows. Plans are under way to have a really good program in connection with the coronation. This will be held in the Senior High school of October 31. It will include the best talent not only in Senior High school but the community as well. The Junior High school Campus King and Queen will be crowned the same time. This will be a 45 minute or hour program and the price of admission will be 50 cents for students and S1 for adults. Tickets will be printed and will be sold in advance, the pro- ceeds going to the class making the sale. . i.-ii..-1. F' x , f 53' fyni 3 325 Af. 15 glib ' fa- N52 1?
