The Junior High basketball team enjoyed a very successful season. They played a total of ten games, winning seven and losing three. The Junior Lobos scored a total of 151 points while their opponents scored 131 points. In the Junior Boys tournament held in the Levelland gym the Junior Lobos won the championship by de- feating the Clanene team in the finals, a team that had twice before beaten the Junior Lobos. The other game lost, besides the the two to the strong Clauene quintet, was to the Lubbock Junior High team. i Junior High Vac Standing-Haase, Ballew, Graham, lurphy, Carpenter, and Coach Dickenson--Kneeling-Dark, Bilhrey, Thacker, Hodges Coach Dickenson is expected to have a very strong Junior Track team this year. The boys have been working hard and even though at the time the annual goes to press a competitive meet has not been held, much is expected of these boys.
