The Class float entitled, Kingdom of the Sea, won an award for the most artistic. Next order of business was the presentation of an enioyable After-Game Dance from which the Senior Class added S170 to their treasury. The annual Senior Maga- zine Drive was the cabinet's next proiect. Each member of the class helped sell specified magazines, the profits going into the Senior Class treasury. The drive was very successful. The first semester cabinet also began planning for the Senior Prom. The location, price of tickets, orchestra, dinner, etc., were all taken care of by the cabinet, well in advance of the Prom. ln order to give everyone an opportunity to help choose the Prom loca- tion, a Senior After-School Dance was held, at which time the class selected the Deauville Club for their Prom. Among other lesser activities, the cabinet select- ed the three graduation announcements upon which the class later voted. This brought to a close a very successful first semester for the Senior Class.
