FRESHMEN HISTORY A group of twenty-four entered Lester High in 1939 as freshmen. We also went through the rigors of initiation as did our former friends. Elaine Beise was elected president, Ardin Kruschke, treasurer, Patty Sheppard, vice-president 5 Walter Schneider, secretary in the first semester. Mr. Schaumburg was elected as class adviser. For the last semester, Dellas Spleiss was elected as presidentg Milo Kubash, treasurer, Ardin Kruschke, vice president, Carolyn Baumann, secretary, Our first year of high school life contained many enjoyments. We had various parties and other entertainments throughout the year.
