LeRoy recorded its first Maple Leaf Conference Championship by compiling a 9-0 regular season record. The Cardinals then defeated Rushford in the District I playoffs. The gridders earned a spot in the Class C playoffs, but they dropped a tough game to New Richland, the eventual state champions. The Cardinals accumulated some impressive statistics during the season. Offensively they averaged 32.5 pts per game; Defensively, they held opponents to 5. 8 pts per game.
