CLASS Wl LL We the Senior Class of LeRoy-Ostrander High School, 1961-62, being of sound mind, disposing memory, on leaving this institution of higher learning, do hereby make known our last testament to take effect after graduation. Article I. To the faculty, we bequeath all our gratitude with sincere hope that their efforts will fall upon more fertile soil. Article II. To the Junior Class, we bequeath our self-satisfaction, our importance, our wisdom, and also our Senior privileges (If they can find them) all of which we possess in enormous quantities. Article III. To the Sophomore's, we bequeath all honors, bluffing ability, and trips to the office. Article IV. To the Freshmen, we bequeath our cleverness, good behavior, and ability to acquire knowledge without consulting books. Individually we bequeath the following: I Sharon Leslie will my ability to take notes in class to LuVerne Speer. I Mary Jane Hansen will my ability to hit high C in chorus to Elwood Boe. I Terry Heathman will my ability to get along with Mr. Shodean to Denny Lastine. I Larry S. Jacobson will my middle name to Karen Smith and Joe Cartney. I Phyllis Smith will my small beady eyes to Judy Bly and Sharon Cleveland. I also will my ability to speak Latin to Steve Unruh. I Ann King will my ability to get along with Home Ec. teachers to Jan Hanna. I Gary Woods will my nights with the boys to Keith Forrester. I David Jacobson will the contents of my billford to Candy Nymann. I Gary Austin will my trip to Milwaukee to James Osland. (He should be just about the right size for that bathtub.) I Jean Hawkins will my wardrobe of straight skirts to Doug Robinson. I Wayne Leibfried will my position in the line in football to Diane Rich. I Ron Peters will my FFA jacket to Barb Berg. I also will my nickname to Ronnie Remer, henceforth known as Wonnie Werner. I Gloria Monsen will my ability to go with one person for more than a month to Lois Morse. I Vernon Blum will my talkative ways to Glenda Miland and Judy Noe. I Charlotte Abbott will my desire to become a nurse to Judy Peterson, because of her steel nerves and cast iron stomach. I Paul Paulsen will to Cheryl Emist my ability to reach high places. I Mary Main will my quiet ways to Sam Sorenson to help him in physics class. (To help him in any class 1) I Gail Thompson will my long dark hair to Mike Volkart and Rick Leslie. I Eddie Runde will my sheep to Vicki Gronert and Gerda Bruns. I Dale Bergland will my trench coat to Leon Lauck. That way he'll be able to keep up with the shorter styles. I Dalton Patterson will my nights in Spring Valley to Karen Soderquist. I Kenny McRoberts will my ability to play football to Ilene Blum. I Mary Berg will my ability to make lengthy speeches to LeRoy Stanger. I Don Maage will my duets with Jake to Mary Ellen Byrd. I Larry Moe will my long hours at my short wave radio to Wanda Rowe. I Helen Kruse will my voice to Dan Larson in hopes that your speeches in senior English will equal mine. I Mary Kempe will my rollerskating ability and a pillow to Barb Dahlke. I Dave Backus will my hot blue Plymouth to Carol Monsen and Joanne Boe to save the cost of hauling it to the junk yard. I Roger Bhend will my trap line to Nancy Kappers and Lois Koppen. I Bob Harrington will my membership in FFA to Rhonda Iverson and Gayle Norby. I Karen Juvrud will my wild New Years Eve parties to Marvin Schott. I Karen Larson will my Norwegian accent to Joe Rowe and Jerry Wierson. I Joan Perry will my collection of sweaters to Ron Orum. I also will my shorthand ability to Daryl Cartney and Steve Ludeman. I Elouise Rick will my ability to flirt with the opposite sex to Swede Rowe.
