Students on the yearbook staff and the newspaper staff are eligible and at the time of their election must meet the following requirements:(1) They must be at least a junior in high school (2) They must be in the upper third of their class in general scholastic standing (3) They must have done superior work in some phase of journalistic or creative endeavor (k) They must be recommended by the advisor of the two organizations (5) They must be approved by the Executive Secretary of Quill and Scroll. The Le Roy chapter was first organized in the spring of 1956. Quill and Scroll members main project has been the preparation and editing of the Le Roy High School Student Handbook which is given to all students free of charge on the first day of school each year. Because the 1959 members of the Quill and Scroll were not chosen at the time of the printing of this yearbook, the staff was unable to obtain a picture. 27
