REUNION ON THE MOON As it comes class reunion time we find that the seniors of 58 have really gone up in this world — or should we say out of this world! By the way the reunion this year is being held on the moon First we find that Don Terry, Bertha Soltau, and Norman Mellem, known as the three crazy scientists were the first to invent a rocket that would go to the moon Orlo Austin and Jill Renner are running the 0 J repair shop for rockets on the moon . We find Bette Hailing still trying to find a way to get her Ford to the moon Every time she gets half way there she runs out of gas or has a flat and Bonnie Malcomson and Elaine Johnson just can't quite push that far. Jo Ann Francis, Diane Iverson, and Jean Iverson have set up a beauty shop. Diane specialized in curling eyelashes and Jean and Jo Ann in haircuts, the Le Moon Special Ruth Knight is making a career out of cheerleading. She's cheering the home team Bjoflk made up of Dick Benson, Denny Hanson, and Dick Brovmlow on to victory It seems the boys are going real well, they've beaten the Russians right back down to the ground Liz Runde and Alan Tapp are experminting with new olants to see if they can't set up farming on the moon. Bob Eastvold and Ervin Johnson are now running an Interspace Transportation Service They just got back from there honeymoon on a lonely rocket in space with there new brides the former Mavis Ramaker and Mary Orke These boys really go for red hair even one of their piolets Karen Hanson is a red-head Chester Clark has taken over the Lawrence Welke Band and has changed the name to the Swinging Moonbeams. His star performers are Bill Hickok on the piccalo and Jean Ras- raassen chief tuba player. Lester Voigt and Rollie O'Groske now own the famous Out of This World Club even of greater fame than the Stork Club. There success is due to their great chef, Ronnie Wyatt, but if he doesn't quit making those green cheese specials there won't be a moon left. Also featured in the club are those famous dancing girls Mary Juvrud, Carol Paulson, and Joan Peterson Even after our famous philospher Mr. Harvey's last words rock and roll won't last the girls are still going strong. Even up here on the moon adults westerns are still the rage - but we have our own famous Earp Buro played by that he-man Wild Charlie Stephens. He's grown those ever-lovin side burns and now wears a 15 gallon hat. His side kick is none other than the famous Gabby alias Norma Sween. Mary Boe and Kenny Stockdale feeling sorry for some of the boys who use to hang a-round the pool hall decided to set up a new kind of pool hall on the moon. One thing, its absolutely smoke free. Since cars are so hard to get to the moon Denny Swedberg and Dave Robb have set up a horse and buggy rental - the only one of its kind on the moon. Kaye Quale has started a new club on the moon that seems to be drawing more people there every day. The Man Haters Club latest members are Marlys Erie and Betty Walden.. Ruby Christenson has taken up cigar smoking and a trench coat and has started her own crime syndicate on the moon. Her top hoods Mary Shirbroun and Fern McRoberts will be joining her in a few weeks if the jail break gees off as planned. If the three just mentioned should happen to run into our new space cadet force started by that rough tough Karen Gronert and Garry Termont there may be a little eruption on the moon. Karen and Garry plan to use the new ray guns invented by Dorothy King. Delbert Voigt is now captain of a small fleet of space ships and is in command of his own small fleet with his left hand men, Marsha Meyers and Shirley Morine. The only rather different business we found at our reunion was when we discovered that Jenette Lawson and Pat Patton had set up a Mortuary. But I guess that's something we find everywhere!i One good way to look at this is that it employs two more of our ex-classmates. Their chief embalmer is none other than Bruce with Peggy making air-tight caskets famous all over the moon and world. From the reports we picked up it seems their doing a booming business especially with Russia and their not to successful space ships! The only sad note to our reunion was when we discovered two dis-believers of space-travel could not be with us. It seems Don Barber and Leslie Mi land wouldn't take the risk to join us here on the moon. It looks like they're really playing it safe, their occupation is ditch—digging. Even back in school we remember how this class was always up on everything and even then a little out of this world.
