The night was dark, the wind was cold a , hen thru the bed-springs came this strange code « L. R. H. S. 56 V. I. P. £'v I decided to probe myself and see. For each one has made a name; The class of “56 Is filled with fame. The first name to appear on this list of V.I.P.'s is Connie Beisell, the beautiful New York model, who just announced her engagement to Paul Eastwold, a wealthy ranch owner from Texas. His main asset is oil wells. Next is that great Motorcycle Daredevil of Ringling Bros, circus, Paul Nelson. He is competing for the main spotlight with Laura Hoon, the great lady lion trainer. He needs the extra money for the cigars he has to pass out. What's thatl? It's a bird} It's a planel NO It's Loren Forrester on the high trapeze. From the Philipines comes the sound of singing. Darlene Clark and her two canaries are singing a duet for their neighbor Ted Backus, who is living off the wealth he gained in sell ing coconut milk to the Californians, because they were sick of orange juice. On the Nevada desert we see Ann Simon and Darlene Malcomson frying eggs on the sidewalk at the entrance of their gold mine. They can't leave it alone for a minute because people are always trying to go in to get souvenirs. Dwight Daniels has captured the roll of Tarzan in Repulsive Pictures. For a role like this, he needs to keep trim; so he hired Gail Kruse to watch his diet and mind leopard skins for him. Les Greenleaf has accepted the large responsibility of making buckshot for the guards' shotguns at Alcatraz. In this undertaking, he has none other than Kay Nauman to help him. Joe Hanson is now an Eskimo in Alaska. So he doesn't get too lonely or starved, he has a neighbor, Martha Patterson, do his cooking and mending for him. He's a hermit, you know. Now we swing back down the coast to Hollywood where we find Norma Woods Mold Form Stud ios, which she started after she won the Miss Mellow Mold of 1956 title. Her hard-working ? models are Ruth Stephen and Gladys Stevens, and what's this? Bob Bly? Yes, it is, and he's complaining because he has to wear those slinky dresses and nose-tickling furs. Also here in Hollywood, we see Margie Miller starring in My Little Margie . Her roommate, Delores Maloney, is soloist on the Fred Waring Show. A roar, a clatter, and a sputter is heard from the direction of Ostrander. Dallas the junk man Sween is collecting junk in his jeep. He buys all his tires from Bonnie Hawkins. Virgil Oldre has just landed in Hawaii on a case. He is now a detective for the Jack Webb Agency. He set out to find what has been causing the current string of earthquakes and no one was more surprised than he to find out it was caused by Vivian Huntley and Gloria Cus ey while figuring out new hula routines. Who polishes Liberace's piano and makes his candles? Why, none other than the capable, Gary Lamon. In Boston the great shorthand professor Gordon Mahoney is conducting a class. He does very well because he knows LaVonne Fortney will have dinner waiting for him at home. Now who appears in a flash of silver and a cloud of dust? Roger Tangen, captain of the professional All Star Footballers. Serving as his housemaid, shoeshiner and part time stand in is Keith Rauch. DeAnne Wolthoff appears next. She's a housewife and a part-time secretary in the thriv ing city of Austin. She's quite exasperated after a hard day at work to find her spouse and two kids waiting for supper. Off to Puerto Rico where we see Ann Runde, married to a Rockerfeller, scolding her bell bqy and chauffeur, Dick King because he goes too slow. Out Cheyenne way there's a big rodeo going on. Coming out of chute 1, is Jim Hale riding Behave Yourself , a very dependable bucker. Sandra Brownlow is standing by as the rodeo's chief nurse and cook. She's got her band-aids and skillet in case of an emergency. In Africa, Carl Schmidt, a missionary to the head-hunters, mops his face, while his assistant, Donna McRoberts, chases away the mosquitoes (they're very fond of that rich Minnesota blood). Pat Cornelius and Sharlene Jacobson are having trouble getting their rocket started, a baby atomic bomb they've borrowed from the Einstein Laboratory, should help them take off. Let's hope it's not too fast. On an uncharted island Ida Mae Drogsvold mounts a throne to become empress. George Gilbert has been shipwrecked on a neighboring island, and they get together once in a while to reminisce about the gay times at L.R.H.S. In Rome, a movie is in production, The Gallant Charioteer starring Janice Ridenour. All of a sudden one of her donkeys falls. What's wrong? He slipped on a dandelion, and buttered his nose. Siren wail, and two heaps whiz past. Yes, it's Le Roy's Boy Wonder mechanic, Kent Meyers, being chased by officer King. Kent's heap has reached 1120 M.P.H. and is, as yet not at full speed. I think these kids have been conspiring To make my work a little more tiring; It to some time for these thoughts to jell. How true this is only time will tell.
