MCLASS OF 50' The May 16, 197k issue of the LeRoy Independent states that the Class of '5Uu 1s having a class reunion at the new 325,000,000 Municipal Building. It was built by the famous architect, Ray Hendrickson, a member of the class. Promptly at 11:00 A.M. a big black limousine drove up and Nancy Hoon stepped out. She is now married to the famous football coach, Claire Wolthoff. Dale Cusey was her chauffeur, but we hear that he drives for Joey Chitwood during his spare time. Daryl Olson arrived next. He is now a cheerleader for the Minneapolis Lak- ers. He came dressed in his uniform, since he had to leave for a very important game right after the meal. His uniform suit, cow-boy boots, and his hair dyed motion at the west end of LeRoy. Roger safari, consisting of 25 elephants and was the star. He had just returned from a Africa where he captured Earl Mathes, the in his brand new Chevrolet car. He is now consisted of a Marilyn Monroe bathing red. At this time there was a great com- Gerloff had just entered town with his 59 dancing girls, of whom Violet Spellman trip into the mysterious continent of wild man. Dean Sanderson arrived next a co-owner of the Chevrolet and Stan- dard Oil Company. Arriving at this time were Virgil and Victor Speer. They are now Siamese Twins of Barnum and Bailey Circus. It seems they glued their heads together, thinking two heads are better than one. In their case they were right. While we were waiting for the others to arrive, we received a telegram. It read, SORRY, BUT UNABLE TO MAKE IT THIS YEAR. AM SUEING MY WIFE, MARDELLA, CFORMERLY MARDELLA TEBAYJ FOR DIVORCE, ON THE GROUNDS OF CRUELTY AND INHUMAN TREATMENT. SIGNED ROBERT KLASSY. As we finished reading, who should arrive but Roger Dick, Jerry Remer, and Jerry Estlick. They now own the newly organized Golden Goose Gambling House in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hear business is hatching out pretty good. We then picked up a paper, but I was shocked when I read these headlines. UN- HAPPY FATHER LEAPS FROM WINDOW. The article read as follows: DON MAHONEY, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE KELLOGG'S CEREAL CCHPANQ AND FATHER OF SIX GIRLS RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES WHEN HE LEAPED FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW UPON LEARNING HE IS NOW THE FATHER OF NINE GIRLS...HIS WIFE HAS JUST GIVEN BIRTH TO TRIPLETTS. The next arrival was General Robert Nagel, who made the news by his appointment as Chair- man of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Anna Mae Johansen then arrived. She was dres- sed ln a brand new 810,000 sable mink coat and a diamond as big as your fist. We investigated and found she is engaged to marry a Rockefeller. After our dis- cussion with her, I picked up the latest NLOOKU Magazine and began looking thru it. Then to my surprise, I came to the section written on the life of Marlys Johnson. It showed her back here in LeRoy of the Class of '54,' including a picture as one of our beautiful senior girls as she was crowned HOMECOMING QUEEN. It says here she is now a singer for the Metropolitan Opera. There is also an article here about Bonnie Lancaster, a member of the Class. It states she is the first woman to successfully arrive at the North Pole, by swimming around the North Cape. And there is the section on Leonard Bornstein. It seems he has taken Clark Gables place on the screen. He is called one of the great young lovers of the era. Joan Thoreson, with her famous manager, Gerald Backer, who formerly man- aged Badman McGoo, was the next to arrive. She is now the middle-weight wrest- ling champion of the world. She is famous for her mule-kick. Robert Speer also arrived. He is now Admiral of the Navy. He received his rank for inventing sea- sick curing pills. Mary Mahoney is now a woman lawyer. She got her start from defending Houggy Carmickle. They won the case with the help of a former class- mate, Roger Larson, now Judge Larson. Vern Harden then arrived. He is now a re- sort owner on Lake Louise outside of LeRoy. During his spare time he is a bathing beauty contest Judge. Lawrence Zebaugh, Bob Paulsen, and Joe Kemps then arrived. They now own the Salty Pretzel Company. With everyone that could be here in the dining room we ate the delicious dinner prepared by the famous woman creator of new foods, and the second Betty Crocker, Yvonne Timm. With the meal over, I noticed a violent argument down at the other and of the table between Mr. and Mrs. Claire Simon QMrs. Simon, formerly Pat Henderson.D They became so violent that WW1mpyW had to send Pat home on their rocket to the moon where they live and which they also discovered. Ken Nauman now hag his own orchestra It looks as if the Class of H545 really has made a place for themselves in the world after all, in spite of the teachers worries. We'll be looking forward to attending their next class reunion. I3
