Senior Class Prophecy As I was roving leisurely down New York Boulevard the other day I saw an old newspaper. As I saw the name Le Roy on it I just had to stop and pick it up. I immediately read the headline Class of 53 Makes News. I guess they had made news all right. I went on to read. Wanda Tebay has been made president ofa slot machine company in New York and has come out with a new super deluxe slot machine. Betty Moe is now coaching the Univer- sity of Rhode Island to their fourth straight undefeated football season. e look into the basketball world and we find that Kenny Hanson is now the tall- est member of the Minneapolis Lakers Bas- ketball Team and is considered the coun- tries most eligible bachelor. Wilma Rugg is designing a new type of oriental rug and is now vice president of the Rugg and Rugg, Rug Company. As you pass any zoo you can see groups of gray-bearded monkeys which were col- lected in darkest Africa by Harlan More. Sally Miller is now married and has become Mrs. America for the eleventh con- sequtive year. CIt would be curtains for her if they ever found out she wore a wig.j Reading on farther we find that the Mrs. America beauty judge was nobody but Ber- nard Bunne. However, he is thinking about resi ning after the F.B.I. had him on triaf for suspicion of taking a bribe. Anytime you turn on your television sets nowadays you can see the famous lady wrestler, Gaitha Mc Dbnald. Her back ankle lock has become famous. Ro er Jacobson is now testing a new kind of Stickum Lipstick in Paris. Eleanor Thorson owns the kennels on the outskirts of Le Roy. She has more than 2,311 dogs. We saw three truckloads of flea powder going out there today. The Rough Cowboy Rodeo is in town. It is owned by Meredith CAustinD and Jerry --II Mahoney, who were recently married after a long courtship. They have recently hir- ed Hopalong Cassidys' son as their star performer. Eunice Jacobson has now bought the Le Roy pool hall and Bob Sanderson has the duty of scrubbing the floor and keeping order on ladies night. Don Hatlestad is now master of cere- monies for the You Name It-- We Give It quiz program. Dayton's Store in Minneapolis is drawing a big trade in the shoe department. This is because Lorraine Boe is saleswoman She is ver efficient at this job because she can tell the size of feet at a glance. We find that some of the senior class has strayed from thestrdght and narrow way. Joann Winkels is serving a five year term in prison for a charge of assault and battery against a basketball referee. The great Greek sculpture Nova La Makaluke is on a recent tour of Egypt with his model Donna Hatlestad. The class has also turned out a med- ical genius. After learning that he could cure broken legs in one day'Dean Hamlin has become famous. His wonder drug is pennicillun Nancy Mc Gillivray has turned from her hobby of raising beef to that of buying beef for the Hormel Plant in Austin. The mad scientists, John Hanks and Bill Berg have ripped up the streets of Le Roy looking for uranium. Martha Johnson has gotten over her shy ways and is now Ambassador to Mongolia. Last but not least we find that Verne and La Vern Jacobsen have glued themselves together at the elbows and are fooling the gublic by traveling with Barnu and Bailey ircus as Siamese Twins. We think the Class of 53 has come a long ways. Don't you?
