This occurred when a man from Jos tens at Owatonna came to class one day with rings for us to pick from. 'He had a hard time deciding, but finally chose one really beautiful ring. In October we were informed that our class play books, Dear Ruth, had arrived. This play was about a young girl who had written letters to service-men and had signed her older sister's name. It then goes on to tell about the amusing situations they find then-selved in when these soldiers and sailors come hone to see Ruth. Mr. Dain v»as our director. In April work began on the Prom. The theme, Moonlight Bay, was decided on and orders were sent for materials. May 21st finally arrived and the beautiful transformation of the gym into a Moonlight Bay was very effective. After a delicious banquet was enjoyed, a program was presented, followed by dancing to Jack Charles' Orchestra.
