mv»iwi«w«www « - wt. ■ fwiHwwff vav Vw v vr THE CLASS WILL Up in the attic away from the din, Where only the mice and the bats come in. Behind a brick in a chink in the wall, Guess what we found—cobwebs and all? An old piece of paper all tattered and torn, Its content a will—quite legally sworn, We read it together and did reminisee And when we read it, it sounded like this: We the LeRoy Seniors of 1949 do hereby bequeath the following to our beloved underclassmen (and Women). Paul Bothun wills his motorcycle to Darlene Wibben for her frequent trips to Austin. He also wills his ability to shoot billiards to Inez Smith. Burley Elliott wills his manly physique to Marie Knode so she can be the bottom of the pyramid now. Mary lou Fister wills her fob as ticket seller at the theater to Fritz Miller unless he would rather be usher! Betty Hanson wills her Norwegion appearance to Leola Roper. Biola Harrington wills her mile walk to school in the morning to Rose Psts ch Priscilla Hoon wills her school board father to Keith Knight. (It might come in handy sometime). Jack Himes wills his slow, ambling stride to Puss Larson. He never seems to get anyplace fast enough. Peder Johnson his prized Model A. to Marvin Winkels to save wear and tear on their Kaiser. Karl Kempe wills his stature to Donna River. A1 Knudson wills his girlish figure to Russ Triplett for use during the next fall's football season. Harold Kurth will his scholarly look to Gerald Forland, James Mahoney wills his interest in Biola Harrington to Lawrence Bantries. Mavis Malcomson wills her interest in Riceville to Ruth Harden. As if she could be more interested? Kay Mielitz wills her five friends from St. Paul to Barbara Hoon. She also wills her ability to fall off a horse the right way to Darlene Hopp. Irene Morse wills her ability to talk herself our of (or into) any sit- uation to Gordon Meyers. Frank Pelley will his appointments behin the L K to Leonard Remer. Wayne Perry wills his chemistry, grammar, and bookkeeping workbooks complete with answer to Mary ou Jensen. I wonder what she will need them for?? Howard Peterson wills his interest in a certain brunette from Spring Valley to Dale Kinter. They would make such a nice couple. Lorraine Prestegard wills Dick's convertable to Don Klassy. Carol L. would love that. Boto Regan wills his janitor's fob to Louise King to keep her occupied in her spare time. Bob also wills his Irish temper to Mary Thoreson, so she can handle her own Irish betterhalf. Lavonne Roe wills her attraction to men to Phyllis Volkart. She really doesn't need that though, does she? Glen Stockdale wills his kitten ball te„m to Lucille Gerloff. The whole senior class wills Glen Stockdale to Carol Langehaug, sincj she seems to prefer small dark men. Oakley Stockdale wills his bass voice to Molly Johnson. Carol Strom wills the Ferst National Band to Shirley Spencer. Frank Watts wills the M del A oupe to Marilyn Thoreson. She probably will get it any way. LaVonne Wolthoff wills her membership in the big 4 to Roy Johnson. Mildred Younker wills her driving skill to Don McGillivray. It might come in handy in his futurecareer as a racer. Con Hovland will his ambition to become a minister -to Toby Spellman. This concludes our last will and testimony and we sincerely hope the future seniors will appreciate the estates entrusted to their keeping. 11'.ynr 7
