JUNIOR RAMBLINGS The Junior Class of ‘'48” is by no means an ordinary class. Our class is composed of actors and actresses, interior decorators, entertainers, and in general a group of potential wonders. We displayed our acting ability in the great production of “Growing Pains.” This was simply the trials and troubles of the two McIntyre youths and as an outcome, the effect it has on the McIntyre parents. We naturally enjoyed presenting it and are looking forward to our Senior play next year. The prom demonstrated the decorating ability of our class, and we will probably remember all the fun we had getting ready for it all of our lives. The gymnasium was decorated beautifully in various colored crepe paper to carry out our theme. After the banquet was over and everyone was quite content, the orchestra began playing the first number and before long the floor was full of happily dancing couples. Yes, the prom of ”48” was really a big success. We proved that we could entertain quite ably when we gave a farewell party for Dorothy Knight. We played a few “active” games and later a lunch consisting of sandwiches, cake, and pop, was served. Dorothy Knight was presented with a pendant on a chain from the Junior class and the party came to an end. We demonstrated our ability to be jewelry experts when one fine day all of us Juniors were called into the library. “Why, we wondered, so we went in and found out. It was about our class rings. After seeing and debating about the many choices, we finally picked one. It proved to be in very good taste and we think our rings are very attractive. We proved our ability for leadership by the election of our class officers. They are: President..... Vic -President Secretary..... Treasurer.....
